Seeking Support
and Building Community

Support from Colleagues

UD is lucky to have a caring community of faculty and staff colleagues who have a wealth of information and ideas for solving problems. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask for help from your peers when it comes to rethinking an assessment strategy, brainstorming ideas for how to demonstrate a particular topic, finding new resources, and more. You can find the names and profiles for many people at UD by filtering by different departments in the UD Directory.

You are also invited to join the new listserve for Flexible Teaching. By joining this group, you will be able to email flexteaching@udayton.edu your questions/ideas, and all who have joined will be able to see and respond to your message.

To join, please follow the instructions in this guide.

Support from UDit

The UDit Service Center is your first stop for all technology questions, including Zoom, classroom tech, UD accounts, and more. With their expanded hours, they are able to efficiently answer questions and make sure you are connecting with the people who can best help.

See the UDit Service Center’s contact information, hours, and knowledgebase.

Support from eLearning

As always, we are here to help. We want to do whatever we can to help you be successful. However, as we expect a large volume of requests, we ask that you first review our training materials to see if you can find answers to your questions there. If you can’t find the answer, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

We will try to respond to all emails and voicemails within one business day. Consultation requests should be submitted for questions that require more in-depth discussion. Consultations may take a few days to be scheduled.
